FY24 Information Maneuver OCCFLD LATMOVE Solicitation Roadshow

This MARADMIN announces a FY24 roadshow to solicit lateral moves into the Information Maneuver (17XX) Occupational Field. The roadshow will visit multiple Marine Corps installations worldwide from January through June 2023, providing information briefs about lateral move opportunities and the application process. Marines of any rank interested in the 17XX OCCFLD are invited to attend in-person or virtual sessions.

1.  This MARADMIN announces the FY24 17XX Information Maneuver (IM) 17 Occupational Field (OCCFLD) Lateral Move (LATMOVE) Solicitation Roadshow.  The primary purpose of this Roadshow is to solicit for FY24 LATMOVES and answer specific questions about the application process and opportunities within the 17XX IM OCCFLD.      
2.  Members of the IM OCCFLD team within the Deputy Commandant for Information (DC I), Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC), will conduct information briefs to increase awareness for LATMOVE opportunities within the 17XX OCCFLD.  The OCCFLD team will be available to address individual questions following the information briefs.

Note 1:  Upon confirmation of the venue, updates will be disseminated via MOL broadcast message and the 17XX MS Teams channel.
Note 2: Date and time for a brief at NPS is TBD.  This session is planned to align with the SECNAV Space Summit.  Details on this session will be broadcasted via MOL message and published through the 17XX MS Teams channel.
4.  There will be opportunities for Enlisted Marines who are interested in LATMOVE to the 1751 PMOS to attend an in-person screening and assessment.  Reference MARADMIN 657/22 for the pre-requisites.  Contact the screening team at OMB_IMD_InfluenceOccFieldsLatMove@usmc.mil for more information on participating in the screening and assessment.

5.  Marines of any rank who are interested in future IM OCCFLD opportunities are invited to attend the briefs.  All Marines shall be afforded the opportunity to attend if desired.  Command leadership at every echelon, both officer and enlisted, are welcome.

7.  For Marines who are unable to attend, virtual sessions will be held via the MS Teams Channel. 
8.  This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
