MAGTF Unmanned Expeditionary – TACAIR (MUX-TACAIR) Transition Task Force (TTF) Announcement
This MARADMIN announces the establishment of the MUX-TACAIR (MAGTF Unmanned Expeditionary – TACAIR) Transition Task Force to manage the introduction of the MUX-TACAIR platform into Marine Corps Aviation operations. The Deputy Commandant for Aviation will lead the effort, coordinating with numerous USMC and Navy organizations to ensure effective transition and integration of this unmanned capability.

1. This MARADMIN announces the establishment of the MUX-TACAIR Transition Task Force (MUX-TACAIR TTF). 2. Per ref (B), DCA has directed the establishment of the MUX-TACAIR TTF to ensure the effective introduction of the MUX-TACAIR platform and its accompanying capabilities into USMC Aviation operations. The DCA will lead USMC organizations in support of the directed transition/introduction. The MUX-TACAIR TTF will be composed of those USMC organizations required to execute the transition effort. 3. In order to properly conduct the MUX-TACAIR TTF actions and objectives, DCA requests full cooperation and proponent participation. Providing the correct subject matter experts with access to the proper decision-making authority level will enable a continuity of effort. 4. When requested, the following commands are necessary to effectively support the TTF with appropriate representatives' resident within their HQ as well as their applicable subordinate organizations, if not directly listed below. Non-governmental participation will be restricted only to those entities working under federal contract with DoN. Participation by any other non-government entity shall be authorized through the TTF Lead. 6. Coordinating Instructions. 6.a. The TTF will use an unclassified SharePoint website as its primary medium to ensure efficient TTF collaboration and a comprehensive document repository at https:(slash)(slash)usmc.sharepoint-mil.us.mcas-gov.us/ sites/CunninghamGroup/SitePages/MUX-TACAIR.aspx 6.b. An initial MUX-TACAIR TTF conference (1-26) will take place 09-13 Feb 2025 aboard MCAS Yuma, AZ. Calling message, agenda, and details will be sent out via separate correspondence, and will be available via the MUX-TACAIR sharepoint link listed above. TTF 1-26 will focus on MUX-TACAIR program stakeholder leveling, cross-functional team (CFT) formation, and problem framing to the objective of future operational test flights at VMX-1. Ref (B), MUX-TACAIR TTF Charter, contains detailed information on the description and function of each cross-functional team, listed below.
