Announcement of the Marine Corps Officer Selected for Acquisition Command by the Fiscal Year 2024 Naval Air Systems Command Aviation Acquisition Assignment Slating Panel

1.  The purpose of this MARADMIN is to announce the name of the Marine Officer selected in November 2023 by the Fiscal Year 2024 Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) Aviation Acquisition Assignment Slating Panel for assignment to an O6 major program manager command.  The panel, composed of Navy and Marine Corps personnel, screened Marine Corps, Navy, other service, and civilian applicants for assignment to NAVAIRSYSCOM acquisition commands.<br>
2.  The panel selected the following Marine Corps officer for command of an Acquisition Category I program (read in three columns):<br>

3.  Manpower Management Officer Assignments will place a letter in the official military personnel file of the officer in paragraph 2 noting his selection for acquisition command.<br>
4.  The selectee will schedule attendance at Cornerstone:  The Commandant's Combined Commandership Course prior to, or shortly after, assuming duties or upon course availability.  The program consists of two courses conducted concurrently aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico:  a 10-day commander's course and a 5-day spouses workshop.  These courses are conducted semiannually.
