FY19 First Term Alignment Program (FTAP) Quality Marine Identification (QMI) Eligibility Requirements

This MARADMIN announces updated Quality Marine Identification (QMI) program eligibility requirements for FY19 First Term Alignment Program (FTAP). The program authorizes 100 QMI reenlistment spaces for active duty Marines in PMOSs that have reached 100 percent execution, distributed across Combat Arms, Combat Service Support, and Aviation/Signal Intelligence/Ground Electronic Maintenance occupational fields.

1. Purpose. To announce updated change to the submissions criteria under the Quality Marine Identification (QMI) program.<br>
2. Situation. The Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 Active Component Accession and Retention Plan authorizes 100 QMI spaces.  This total may not be exceeded.  The FY19 FTAP reenlistment period began on 5 July 2018 and continues through 30 September 2019.  During this period as Primary Military Occupational Specialties (PMOS) reach 100 percent executed, Marines in that PMOS are eligible to submit a Commanding General endorsed QMI reenlistment request to MMEA.<br>
3. QMI eligibility requirements are:<br>
3.a. Computed Tier III or above (computed at time of fiscal year initial pull of 5 July 2018).<br>
3.b.  No adversity in the last 2 years, No more than one total NJP or 6105, No SCM, SPM or CM.<br>
4. QMI spaces are allocated as follows:<br>
4.a. 50 spaces - Combat Arms MOSs 02xx, 03xx, 06xx, 08xx, 18xx, 23xx, 25xx, 35xx, and 58xx.<br>
4.b. 25 spaces - Combat Service Support MOSs 01xx, 04xx, 05xx, 11xx, 13xx, 21xx, 30xx, 31xx, 33xx, 34xx, 41xx, 43xx, 44xx, 46xx, 48xx and 55xx.<br>
4.c. 25 spaces - Aviation and Signal Intelligence, Ground Electronic Maintenance MOSs 26xx, 28xx, 59xx, 60xx, 61xx, 62xx, 63xx, 64xx, 65xx, 66xx, 68xx, 70xx, 72xx, and 73xx.<br>
5. This MARADMIN is not applicable to the Marine Corps Reserve.<br>
