1. Purpose. This MARADMIN announces changes to the solicitation for the FY2022 Expeditionary Warfare Excellence Awards (EWEA) MARADMIN. 2. Change to ref (c), paragraph 1.c. due to the ranks expansion for the Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare Officer of the Year, and the Navy Expeditionary Warfare Officer of the Year awards. 3. The changes to ref (c), paragraph 1.c. will be as follow: 3.a. The EWEA features four awards: Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare Officer of the Year (CWO2-CWO3, O3-O4), Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare Staff Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year (E6-E7), Navy Expeditionary Warfare Officer of the Year (CWO2-CWO3, O3-O4), and Navy Expeditionary Warfare Enlisted Sailor of the Year (E6-E7). Active or Reserve. 4. No additional changes/additions to MARADMIN 001/22. 5. Release authorized by Lieutenant General Karsten S. Heckl, Deputy Commandant for Combat Development & Integration.
