The 2023 USTRANSCOM Joint Operational Support Airlift Center Annual Unit Awards

This MARADMIN announces that Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron Beaufort, South Carolina has been selected as both the 2023 USTRANSCOM JOSAC USMC Unit of the Year and the overall DOD Unit of the Year (Eagle Award) winner. The awards recognize outstanding support to the Department of Defense's Operational Support Airlift program, with the unit demonstrating excellence in aircraft availability, reliability, and cooperative practices.

1.  The Deputy Commandant for Aviation takes great pleasure in congratulating the below unit on their selection for the 2023 United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) - Joint Operational Support Airlift Center (JOSAC) Annual unit awards.  The annual unit of the year awards recognize Operational Support Airlift (OSA) units for providing outstanding support to the Department of Defense's (DOD) OSA program.  Operational units are recognized for demonstrating excellence in aircraft availability, reliability, and cooperative practices in all OSA mission activities.  In addition to the competitive categories within the services, a single unit is also recognized which stands out from all others regardless of service affiliation.  This highly competitive overall category includes 64 flying units from across the United States.<br>
