2017 Marine and Family National Research Survey Schedule

This MARADMIN announces the 2017 Marine and Family National Research Survey schedule, which will conduct quarterly Service Quality (SERVQUAL) assessments of various Marine and Family programs. The surveys will measure the gap between user expectations and perceptions to identify program deficiencies and direct resources more effectively to support Marines and their families.

1. Per the references, the Marine and Family MF) Division, Manpower and Reserve Affairs, is required to conduct a study of service quality in 2017. The Service Quality (SERVQUAL) assessment examines MF program deficiencies by measuring the gap between program user's expectations and perceptions of various program attributes. Findings will be utilized to adjust programming and accurately direct resources to best support Marines and their families.<br>
2. SERVQUAL assessments will occur quarterly. The following programs are scheduled for evaluation in 2017, <br>
 2A. First Quarter (Personal Financial Management Program and New Parent Support Program) <br>
 2B. Second Quarter (Voluntary Education Program)<br>
 2C. Third Quarter (Family Member Employment Assistance Program)<br>
 2D. Fourth Quarter (School Age Care Program)<br>
3. Email invitations will be issued to the active Marine component during each scheduled survey month. The email and survey link will be sent to eligible program users, but only those utilizing the program under review will be asked to complete the survey.  Family Readiness Officers will forward the survey link to spouses that are potential program users for access and participation. <br>
4. Survey findings will be published on Marine and Family Gear Locker (<a href="http://www.thegearlocker.org">www.thegearlocker.org</a>).<br>
5. This MARADMIN is applicable to the active Marine component.<br>
