Reassignment of USMC Breach Reporting Officer Designation
This MARADMIN announces the reassignment of USMC Breach Reporting Officer responsibilities from the Deputy Commandant for Information (DC I) IC4 to HQMC Administration and Resource Management Division Service (ARSF), with Ms. Deborah Contaoi designated as the new USMC Breach Reporting Officer. The change is effective immediately and applies to all Marine Corps and Marine Corps Reserve personnel involved in personally identifiable information (PII) breach reporting processes.

1. This MARADMIN provides notification of the reassignment of the USMC Breach Reporting Officer responsibilities from DC I IC4 to HQMC Administration and Resource Management Division Service (ARSF). 2. Effective immediately, HQMC ARSF assumes responsibility for receiving, reviewing, coordinating, and making determinations regarding potential breaches of PII in accordance with references D and E, and has designated Ms. Deborah Contaoi to serve as the USMC Breach Reporting Officer. 3. Formal revision of references A, B, C and D to reflect the changes will occur during the normal review and update processes for those authorities. 4. Command Privacy Coordinators and designated breach reporting officials can contact the POC for additional information. 5. This MARADMIN applies to the Marine Corps and the Marine Corps Reserve. 6. Release authorized by Lieutenant General Paul J. Rock Jr., Director, Marine Corps Staff.
