1. The Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration Capabilities Development Directorate (CDD) and the American, British, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand Armies Program (ABCANZ) have published the sixth edition of MCRP 3-30.2 (ABCANZ Publication 332) Coalition Operations Handbook, dated 30 AUG 2017. 2. Background. The Coalition Operations Handbook is designed to provide coalition commanders and their staffs with general information on various topics essential to the conduct of coalition operations. It primarily provides a list of questions and checklists prompting considerations for improving the effectiveness of a coalition and optimizing interoperability. When using this handbook, one key issue that crosses all functions and which commanders must identify, is distinguishing those areas within coalition control and those that remain under national control. Only then can coalition commanders focus on important coalition issues and develop procedures to function more effectively.
3. This Revision. This revised edition added chapters on Information Management and Air and Missile Defense along with an annex on information exchange requirements.
4. Coordinating Instructions. This manual will be published electronically only. There will be no printed copies. It may be downloaded from the website indicated in paragraph 1 above.
5. This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
6. Release authorized by Lieutenant General Robert S. Walsh, Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration.
