2021 Marine Corps Ground Safety Awards Recipients

This MARADMIN announces the recipients of the 2021 Marine Corps Ground Safety Awards, recognizing commands and individuals for outstanding contributions to safety management and mishap prevention during fiscal year 2021. Awards include the Warrior Preservation Award, Marine Corps Safety Excellence Awards for enlisted, officer, and civilian personnel, and Marine Corps Safety Awards across multiple installation groups.

1.  I am pleased to announce the recipients of the 2021 Marine Corps Ground Safety Awards, recognizing commands and individuals for their significant contributions and accomplishments in the field of safety management and mishap prevention during fiscal year 2021.<br>
2.  Warrior Preservation Award:  Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow<br>
3.  Marine Corps Safety Excellence Awards:<br>
3a.  Enlisted:  MSgt Evan A. Labounty, Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow<br>
3b.  Officer:  1st Lt Reese L. Ogle, 1st Landing Support Battalion<br>
3c.  Civilian:  Mr. Benjamin M. Lebidine, Advanced Infantry Training Battalion, SOI-West<br>
4.  Marine Corps Safety Awards:<br>
4a.  Group I:  No nominations received<br>
4b.  Group II:  Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina<br>
4c.  Group III:  Marine Corps Air Facility, Quantico<br>
4d.  Group IV:  Marine Corps Support Facility, Blount Island<br>
5.  The respective Commanding General will present unit and individual awards on behalf of the Commandant of the Marine Corps.  CMC Safety Division will mail awards and trophies to the unit addresses of winning installations, units, and individuals.<br>
6.  All nominees are commended for their significant contributions to reducing mishaps, increasing mission readiness, and preserving our most precious asset – our Marines, Sailors, and  Civilian Marines.  Congratulations to all for a job well done.<br>
