Fiscal Year 2022 Marine Corps Motor Transport Awards Program Awardees

This MARADMIN announces the Fiscal Year 2022 Marine Corps Motor Transport Awards Program (MCMTAP) awardees, recognizing outstanding Marines and units across various motor transport categories including officers, NCOs, operators, maintainers, and instructors. The awards are sponsored by the Marine Corps Association and Foundation (MCAF), and while there is no formal HQMC ceremony, commands are required to present awards in appropriate local ceremonies.

1.  The Commandant of the Marine Corps takes great pleasure in congratulating the below listed Marines and units for selection as fiscal year 2022 (FY 22) Marine Corps Motor Transport Command Awards Program (MCMTAP) awardees.  As specified in reference (a), an annual awards board was convened to review nominations and select awardees for the FY22 MCMTAP.<br>

2.  The FY22 MCMTAP award sponsor is the Marine Corps Association and Foundation (MCAF).  There is no formal HQMC award ceremony associated with the FY22 MCMTAP.  The absence of a formal award ceremony does not retract from the importance of the award and the requirement to present in appropriate local ceremonies. 2.a.  III MEF G-4 Motor Transport office will coordinate directly with DC I&amp;L, LPM-2, Motor Transport section for delivery of MCAF awards and follow-on presentation.<br>
3.  Congratulations to all of the nominees.  The FY22 MCMTAP selection process was extremely competitive due to the highly skilled, professional and dedicated nature of all individual and unit nominees.  All nominees are deserving of congratulations and rate special recognition.  Commands are encouraged to recognize all individual and unit nominees for their hard work and commitment to the motor transport community and mission.<br>
4.  In accordance with reference (a), this message serves as the calling message for the FY23 MCMTAP.  Nominations are due to DC I&amp;L, LPM-2, Motor Transport NTL 30 November 2023.<br>
