Call for Participation in the Federal Asian Pacific American Council National Leadership Training Program

This MARADMIN announces the 2020 Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) National Leadership Training Program conference scheduled for May 12-14, 2020, in Leesburg, Virginia. The Marine Corps will sponsor a limited number of participants from the Total Force, covering conference registration fees, travel expenses, and per diem through the Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Opportunity, Diversity, and Inclusion Branch.

1.  The 2020 Federal Asian Pacific American Council National Leadership Training Program (FAPAC) conference will be hosted 12-14 May 2020 at the National Conference Center, 18980 Upper Belmont Place, Leesburg, Virginia 20176. Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Opportunity, Diversity, and Inclusion Branch (MPE) will sponsor a limited number of conference/registration fees and all travel expenses and per diem.
2.  The Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) National Leadership Training Program is a nationally recognized organization that serves as a conduit through which the interests, issues and representation of Asian Pacific Americans in the Federal, State, County, City and District of Columbia governments are addressed.  It will also promote partnerships with the public and private sectors in the community it serves.  More information can be found on their website at https:(slash)(slash)fapac.org/NLTP2020
3.  Subject to conference approval, Commanders are encouraged to authorize Temporary Additional Duty for Marines, civilian Marines, and Sailors who are attached to their unit.  Local travel is authorized for members in the local area.  All Marine Corps funded participation must be coordinated through the MPE Branch.  Rental cars are not authorized.  Commands are not authorized to use command, funding for rental cars.
4.  To attend this event please email (via your Officer-In-Charge) your name, rank, unit, and duty station to the Points of Contact.

6.  This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
