Staff Noncommissioned Officer Sexual Prevention and Response Annual Training
This MARADMIN establishes new rank-specific Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) annual training requirements for Staff Noncommissioned Officers (E-6 to E-9). Effective 1 April 2021, the SNCO SAPR Training replaces previous annual SAPR training for all SNCOs and focuses on prevention, SNCO roles and responsibilities, and trauma-informed leadership.

1. Purpose. To provide requirements for Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) annual training for Staff Noncommissioned Officers (SNCO) E-6 to E-9. 2. Reference (a) requires rank specific SAPR training across a Service Member's career. This new SNCO SAPR Training will meet that requirement for all SNCOs. 3. By 1 April 2021, SNCO SAPR Training shall replace the use of SAPR Annual Training for all SNCOs to meet the Fiscal Year SAPR annual training requirement. SNCO SAPR Training focuses on three lines of effort: prevention, roles and responsibilities of a SNCO in the SAPR program, and trauma-informed leadership. 4. Only training curriculum approved by HQMC SAPR will satisfy annual training requirements. 5. Similar to Step Up (E1-E3 annual SAPR training), Take a Stand (E4-E5 annual SAPR training), and SAPR Annual training, this SNCO annual training shall be conducted by Sexual Assault Response Coordinators and SAPR Victim Advocates credentialed through the Department of Defense Sexual Assault Advocate Certification Program or HQMC SAPR personnel. 6. Units are required to report the completion of SNCO SAPR annual training through Marine Corps Total Force System or Marine-On-Line Training Module using the following code S6 (SNCO SAPR annual training). 7.
