Fiscal Year 2025 Career Counselor of the Year Award Board Results

This MARADMIN announces the results of the Fiscal Year 2025 Career Counselor of the Year Award Board. Staff Sergeant Ryan V. Payne from Marine Corps Installations Pacific was selected as the FY25 Career Counselor of the Year, with Sergeant Yanielis Paganmartinez from 12th Littoral Combat Team, 3rd Marine Division, as runner-up. The winner will be formally recognized at the FY25 DC M&RA Professional Awards Dinner on 9 April 2026 at The Clubs at Quantico, Virginia.

1.  Purpose.  To announce the results of the Fiscal
Year 2025 (FY25) Career Counselor of the Year Board.
2.  Background.  Per reference (a), the FY25 Career Counselor
of the Year selection board convened on 6 February 2026.
All nominees demonstrated exemplary records of performance,
reflecting superior leadership, professionalism, and dedication to
enlisted retention and career development.
3.  The results of the board are as follows:
3.a.  FY25 Career Counselor of the Year:

3.b.  FY25 Career Counselor of the Year Runner-up:
Sergeant Yanielis Paganmartinez
12th Littoral Combat Team, 3rd Marine Division

mission. The Marine Corps depends on you and fellow leaders to ensure
 our most talented and capable Marines remain within our ranks.
5.  The FY25 Career Counselor of the Year will be formally recognized 
at the FY25 DC M&RA Professional Awards Dinner on 9 April 2026 at The 
Clubs at Quantico, Quantico, VA. Travel expenses for the awardee
will be funded in accordance with reference (b); detailed travel and
attendance instructions will be provided separately.
