Marine Corps Bulletin 5530 Interim Policy for Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) Operations

This MARADMIN announces the approval and implementation of Marine Corps Bulletin 5530, which establishes interim policy for Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) operations. The policy provides guidance and requirements for Marine Corps units conducting C-UAS operations within the United States and its territories, and applies to the Total Force.

1. The Deputy Commandant, Plans, Policies and Operations approved and signed the interim Policy for Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) Operations on 22 Oct 2018.<br>
2. Background. MCBul 5530 provides guidance and requirements for the implementation of C-UAS operations for Marine Corps units operating in the United States (U.S.), which includes the fifty states, District of Columbia, any U.S. commonwealth, territory, dependency or possession, U.S. internal waters, territorial seas, and national airspace.<br>
3. Coordinating Instructions. MCBul 5530 is a classified document and has been disseminated electronically to all major commands and organizations.  If necessary, contact the message POCs for assistance in obtaining a copy.<br>
4. This message applies to the Total Force.<br>
