Assignment of PMOS 2659, Intelligence Technology and Data Chief
This MARADMIN directs the assignment of Primary Military Occupational Specialty (PMOS) 2659, Intelligence Technology and Data Chief, as part of Future Force 2025 initiatives. All PMOS 2651 Master Sergeants and Master Gunnery Sergeants are immediately reassigned to PMOS 2659, with new prerequisites for selection to Master Sergeant in this MOS beginning with the FY21 SNCO selection board.

1. In accordance with Future Force 2025, this MARADMIN is published to direct assignment of Primary Military Occupational Specialty (PMOS) 2659, Intelligence Technology and Data Chief.<br> 2. Effective immediately all PMOS 2651 Master Sergeant and Master Gunnery Sergeant Marines, shall be administratively re-assigned to PMOS 2659, Intelligence Technology and Data Chief.<br> 3. Effective Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) Sergeant Major through Master Sergeant Staff Noncommissioned Officer (SNCO) selection board, eligibility for selection to Master Sergeant (PMOS 2659) will require completion of prerequisites listed in Reference (a) and associated certification/PMOS course or standards endorsed by Intelligence Department, Headquarters United States Marine Corps. All Marines assigned the PMOS 2659 prior to the FY21 Sergeant Major through Master Sergeant SNCO selection board shall be exempt from the course requirement.<br> 4.
