HQMC Semper Fit (MFS) Seeks Applications for 2016 All-Marine Men's and Women's Softball Teams
HQMC Semper Fit is seeking applications from active duty Marines for the 2016 All-Marine Men's and Women's Softball Teams. Selected Marines will attend training camp at Lackland AFB, TX from September 6-17, 2016, followed by the Armed Forces Championships (September 18-23) and potentially the ASA National Championships in Oklahoma City (September 24 - October 2). Applications must be submitted by July 21, 2016.

1. HQMC Semper Fit (MFS) is seeking applications from active duty Marines interested in participating at the 2016 All-Marine Men's and Women's Softball Team training camp that will be held 6 - 17 September, 2016 at Lackland AFB, TX. The Armed Forces Men's and Women's Softball Championships will also be held at Lackland AFB, TX, 18 - 23 September 2016. Marines selected for the Armed Forces Teams will participate in the Amateur Softball Association Men's and Women's National Softball Championships held 24 September - 2 October, 2016 in Oklahoma City, OK. <br> 2. Interested Marines must submit a sports application to MFS NLT 21 July 2016.<br> 3. Applications may be obtained at local Semper Fit Athletic Offices or online at www.usmc-mccs.org/index.cfm/services/fitness/sports/.<br> 4. Applications must include past softball experience and contain command endorsement stating Marine will be made available to attend all events if selected. Marines stationed at a command with a local Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) Semper Fit will submit their application to the local Semper Fit athletic director for endorsement. Marines stationed at a location without a local MCCS may submit their application directly to MFS via their chain of command.
