Results of the Enlisted Reserve Professional Military Education (PME) Instructor Program Selection Board

This MARADMIN announces the results of the Enlisted Reserve Professional Military Education (PME) Instructor Program Selection Board that convened in December 2017. Six Reserve Marines were selected to complete resident PME courses followed by the Facility Advisor Course at Marine Corps University, after which they will serve one year on Active Duty Operational Support Orders as instructors at Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA.

1.  The Enlisted Reserve PME Instructor Program Board convened December 2017.  Marines accepted into the program will complete their appropriate grade PME course followed by the Facility Advisor Course at the Marine Corps University to become certified instructors.
2.  Selected Marines will complete one (1) year Active Duty Operational Support Orders as instructors after successful completion of resident PME.  In accordance with (IAW) ref (a), the Reserve Marines selected and approved are listed below:

3.  Funding and Orders Processing
    a.  Type of orders are permanent change of station(PCS).  Selectees will receive basic allowance for housing(BAH)with or without dependents at the Quantico, VA rate.
    b.  Reserve Affairs(RA)will submit orders for the selectees via the Marine Reserve Order Writing System with a check in date to Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA five(5)business days prior to the commencement of assigned school.  Contact RA at (703)-784-0537 with any questions.  Travel must not occur prior to the dates prescribed on the orders.  Travel entitlements will be IAW ref(b).
4.  Obligation.  Reserve Marines participating in any funded PME program of study will incur a Selected Reserve(SelRes)drilling affiliation obligation of 12 continuous months following the completion of a program of study.  To more effectively enforce this requirement, the following applies:  Reserve Marines will sign a Separate Written Agreement to Train(SWAT)prior to attending a funded PME program of study to acknowledge and accept the SelRes drilling affiliation requirement.
