The publication is available for electronic download via the Marine Corps doctrine website, with printed copies available only upon submission of compelling justification.

1. The Deputy Commandant, Combat Development and Integration, has approved the electronic distribution of Marine Corps Tactical Publication (MCTP) 3-32B/NTTP 3-13.3M, Operations Security. MCTP 3-32B/NTTP 3-13.3M, Operations Security, dated 01 Sep 2017, is available for download via the United States Marine Corps doctrine website at https://homeport.usmc.mil/sites/mcdoctrine/SitePages/Home.aspx.<br> 2. Background. MCTP 3-32B/NTTP 3-13.3M, Operations Security (OPSEC), is the dual-Service publication that is the Department of the Navy comprehensive publication providing commanders a method to incorporate the operational security (OPSEC) process into daily activities, exercises, and mission planning to assist Navy and Marine Corps commands, afloat and ashore, in practicing and employing OPSEC.<br> 3. Coordinating instructions. Reference (a) details steps required to request publication hard copies, however, this publication will be disseminated via electronic distribution only unless commanders submit compelling needs justification for printed copies. Units requiring print allocations must follow procedures identified in reference (a), paragraph 4a(2). For Marine Corps Publication Distribution System (MCPDS) identification purposes, the publication control number is 147 000049 00.<br> 4.
