Blended Retirement System Roadshow National Capital Region

This MARADMIN announces a Blended Retirement System (BRS) Roadshow in the National Capital Region from 10-14 April 2017. The roadshow will brief commands at MCB Quantico and Henderson Hall to ensure smooth implementation of the BRS. Commands unable to attend can access a video recording by 1 May 2017.

1.  Purpose.  To announce the Blended Retirement System (BRS) Roadshow in the National Capital Region (NCR).
2.  Mission.  From 10 - 14 April members from Manpower Plans and Policy (MP) and Marine and Family Programs (MF) will brief commands in the NCR in order to ensure smooth implementation of the BRS.
3.  Execution.
3.a.  Intent.  Provide commands with information pertaining to the BRS and its implementation.
3.b.  Coordinating instructions.

3.b.2.  BRS Brief to Commands
3.b.2.a.  Target Audience:  All Commanders, Sergeants Major, Adjutant, Command Financial Specialist (CFS), and all interested Officers (O4 and above) and Senior Enlisted (E8 and above) in the NCR.
3.b.2.b.  Timeframe.  Approximately 60-90 Minutes per brief.
4.  Administration.
4.a.  The roadshow is not visiting reserve component installations.  Reserve Commands are encouraged to attend the briefings if able.
4.b.  For units unable attend the briefings, NLT 1 May 2017 a video recording will be posted at https:(SLASH)(SLASH)www.manpower.usmc.mil(SLASH)BRS.
