HQMC Semper Fit (MFS) Seeks Applications for the 2017 All-Marine Golf Team
HQMC Semper Fit is seeking applications from active duty Marines for the 2017 All-Marine Golf Team, which will consist of six men and three women selected through trials at Parris Island, SC in September 2017. Interested Marines must submit online applications by July 14, 2017, with command endorsement and a valid USGA handicap of 3 or less for men and 20 or less for women.

1. HQMC Semper Fit (MFS) is seeking applications from active duty Marines interested in participating on the 2017 All-Marine Golf Team. The All-Marine Golf Team consisting of six men and three women will be selected by trials held at Marine Corps Recruiting Depot Parris Island, SC 11 - 17 September 2017. The team selected from the trials will compete at the Armed Forces Golf Championship 18 - 24 September 2017 at NAS Millington, TN. The top six men and top two women from across the services at the Armed Forces Golf Championship will be eligible to compete at the Conseil International du Sport Militaire (CISM) Golf Championship 12 – 19 November China Bay, Sri Lanka. 2. Interested Marines must submit an online sports application to MFS NLT 14 July 2017. The All-Marine online application system can be accessed from www.usmc-mccs.org(SLASH)services(SLASH)fitness(SLASH)all-marine-sports. Marines must create an account before accessing the application system. Applications must contain command endorsement, and must include a valid United States Golf Association (USGA) handicap of 3 or less for men and 20 or less for women and all competitive results from at least the past two years. For any technical issues with the All-Marine online application system please contact MFS. 3. If selected, Marines must have a Government Travel Charge Card, and have the ability to use or establish an account for the Defense Travel System. 4.
