Inbound Mailing Address Change for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS)

1.  The Defense Finance and Accounting Services mailing address is changing effective May 1, 2017.  The old address is being discontinued and will be replaced by the below address in Indianapolis:<br>

1.a.  The telephone and fax numbers are not changing and remain:<br>
    1-800-321-1080 (Customer Service phone)<br>
    1-800-469-6559 (Fax)<br>
2.  Beginning on May 1, 2017 IPACs should use the new address when forwarding documents for the establishment of Retired Pay Accounts.<br>
3.  The old PO Box in London, KY will remain open and all mail will be forwarded to the new address for one year.  However, sending mail to the old address will add three to five days to the normal processing time.  Likewise, any mail received at the new address before May 1, 2017 will be sent to the old mailing address. 4.  The following MARCORSEPMAN paragraphs affecting retirement/FMCR orders, retired pay and the survivor benefit plan (SBP) must be updated with the new address effective 1 May 2017:  1404, 1406, 8402, Figures 2-1, 7-1, 7-2, 8-4, 8-5, and E007 of Appendix E.  This information will be incorporated into the next change to the reference.<br>
5.  This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps and Marine Corps Reserve.<br>
