Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) Officer Retention Board Number 1 Career Designation Results
This MARADMIN announces the results of Fiscal Year 2021 Officer Retention Board Number 1, which selected 14 Reserve officers for Return to Active Duty (RAD) and 1 Navy officer for Interservice Transfer (IST) to the Marine Corps active component. Selected officers will undergo a scrolling process for Secretary of Defense approval that may take 120 days or more before being contacted by MMOA for appointment paperwork.

1. This MarAdmin announces those officers selected for Return to Active Duty (RAD), and Interservice Transfer (IST) on FY21 Officer Retention Board Number 1.<br> 2.a. A total of 14 RAD applicants were selected by the board. The below listed officers will be recommended to the Secretary of Defense for active component appointment through the scrolling process. If approved, these officers will be contacted by MMOA for completion of appointment paperwork and transfer to the active component. Upon being joined to the active component (Comp Code 11) by their appropriate Marine Corps Reserve Agency, selected officers should contact their gaining active component PMOS monitor (MMOA-1/2) and not prior.
