Availability of MCRP 2-10B.6, MAGTF Meteorological and Oceanographic Operations

1.  The Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration has approved the electronic distribution of MCRP 2-10B.6, MAGTF Meteorological and Oceanographic Operations.  MCRP 2-10B.6, dated 20 March 2018, is available for download via the United States Marine Corps doctrine website at https:(slash)(slash)homeport.usmc.mil/sites/mcdoctrine/SitePages/Home.aspx.
2.  Background.  MCRP 2-10B.6, (formerly MCWP 3-35.7) is the Marine Corps comprehensive publication providing doctrine and guidance for meteorological and oceanographic (METOC) operations in support of the MAGTF.  This publication is intended for commanders, staffs, operational and tactical mission planners, and METOC personnel who plan and execute MAGTF operations.
3.  Coordinating instructions.  Reference (a) details steps required to request publication hard copies, however, this publication will be disseminated via electronic distribution only unless commanders submit compelling needs justification for printed copies.  Units requiring print allocations must follow procedures identified in reference (a), paragraph 4a(2).  For Marine Corps Publication Distribution System (MCPDS) identification purposes, the publication control number is 144 000240 00.
4.  This MARADMIN is applicable to Marine Corps total force.
