Implementation of Combat and Operational Stress Control Program and Operational Stress Control and Readiness Generation III

This MARADMIN updates the Combat and Operational Stress Control (COSC) Program and Operational Stress Control and Readiness (OSCAR) Generation III implementation. It cancels previous guidance, updates training codes in MCTIMS for OSCAR Team training, provides new contact information for Regional Training Coordinators, and announces new templates and tools available on SharePoint to support COSC programming requirements.

1.  This MARADMIN cancels reference (b), amends the Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS) training event code for Operational Stress Control and Readiness (OSCAR) Team training within reference (a), updates the Combat and Operational Stress Control (COSC) Regional Training Coordinator (RTC) contact information, and announces new and optional templates and tools to support requirements for COSC programming in accordance with reference (c).<br>
2.  Units document completion of the OSCAR Team Training via the MCTIMS Unit Training Management module, using Code:  O1 (alpha character O).  OSCAR Master Trainers are identified by training code O4 (alpha character O), and facilitators are identified by training code O3 (alpha character O).<br>
3.  The RTCs are embedded COSC subject matter experts at the Marine Expeditionary Force level, who support commands on COSC policy, training, and program operations.  RTC contact information can be found on SharePoint at:  https:(slash)(slash)usmc.sharepoint-mil.us/sites/DCMRA_family_mfc_BHINT_COSCC/SitePages/Home.aspx.  If access is unavailable, email HQMC_COSCC@usmc.mil to request access.  The COSC Representative shall coordinate with the RTC to conduct COSC and OSCAR Team Training as needed and required by reference (c).<br>
4.  Templates of COSC documents (OSCAR Team appointment roster, COSC Representative appointment letter, COSC Unit Policy Letter) to assist in meeting COSC policy requirements can be found on SharePoint at:  https:(slash)(slash)usmc.sharepoint-mil.us/sites/DCMRA_family_mfc_BHINT_COSCC/SitePages/Home.aspx. 5.  This MARADMIN applies to Active Duty Marines, members of the Selected Marine Corps Reserve, and Marines on Active Duty Operational Support Orders.<br>
6.  This MARADMIN is cancelled upon publication of updated reference(c).<br>
