Change 1 to the Fiscal Year 2019 (FY19) Officer Retention Board Number 1 Results

This MARADMIN announces a correction to the FY19 Officer Retention Board Number 1 results due to technical errors with Marine-Online (MOL) that prevented selected officers from accepting or declining career designation offers. The technical issue has been resolved, and affected officers must now submit their career designation election by 10 April 2019.

1.  This MARADMIN announces a change to ref (a), Fiscal Year 2019 (FY19) Officer Retention Board Number 1 Results.
2.  Background.  Due to unforeseen technical errors with Marine-Online (MOL), officers selected and offered career designation were unable to accept or decline the offer of career designation since the release of ref (a).
3.  The technical error with MOL has been corrected and the officers identified in ref (A) paragraph 15 will be able to access the accept or decline options in order to make a career designation election.  Officers selected for career designation are required to accept or decline this offer by 2359 on 10 April 2019.
4.  Officers who accept career designation will incur a 24-month active duty service obligation beginning 1 July 2019, and ending 30 June 2021.
5.  Officers who do not respond to the offer for career designation by 2359 on 10 April 2019 will be considered as declining the offer and subject to the provisions of ref (a) paragraph 8.
