FY23 National Security Agency Cryptologic Internship Program Selection Results

This MARADMIN announces the selection results for the FY23 National Security Agency (NSA) Cryptologic Internship Program for active-duty Occupational Field 26XX enlisted Marines. Four Marines were selected across different programs (MECCAP, MCSAP, MOSAP, and MLAP) and will report to their respective duty stations during the fourth quarter of CY-22, pending completion of administrative requirements including Time on Station waivers, security clearances, and service obligation extensions.

1.  Purpose.  Announcement of selectees for the FY23 NSA Internship Programs listed in reference (a). <br>
2.  Background.  Eligible active-duty Occupational Field 26XX enlisted Marines across the Fleet Marine Force submitted application packages for the FY23 National Security Agency Cryptologic Internship Program.  As indicative of the quality of Marines who make up the Marine Corps Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Enterprise, the candidates possessed exemplary service records resulting in a highly competitive selection process.<br>
3.  Execution.  The following Marines were selected to individual programs, specific administrative details follow below.<br>

3.b.  If a selectee does not meet minimum Time on Station requirements identified in reference (a), PCS orders and assignment to an internship program are dependent on an approved Time on Station waiver.  Disapproved waivers will result in deselection from the program.<br>
3.c.  PCS orders will be issued by MMEA-24 via SEPCOR.  Selected personnel will report to Company B, Marine Cryptologic Support Battalion (MCSB) (MCC:  J39), Ft George G. Meade, MD, for duty during the fourth quarter CY-22 with one exception:  selectee for the Military Operational Electronic Intelligence Signals Analysis Program (MOSAP) will report to Company A, MCSB, Aurora, CO (MCC:  JB9) during fourth quarter CY-22<br>
3.d.  Personnel selected for MCSAP are required to attend and graduate Intermediate Communications Signals Analysis course (CID:  N2312J1) hosted at Center for Naval Cryptology, Corry Station, Pensacola Florida enroute to MCC: J39.<br>
3.e.  All personnel selected must ensure extension requests or re-enlistments to meet obligated service requirements for six (6) years are approved prior to executing orders.  Career Retention Specialists should ensure a copy of this MARADMIN is appended to their re-enlistment as justification for extended obligated service requirement.<br>
3.f.  Selected personnel must ensure their security clearances are current and are directed to complete a counterintelligence polygraph prior to reporting.  SSO verification must be submitted with the re-enlistment package.<br>
