USMC 2015 Excellence in Naval Fuel Management Recognition Program Winners

This MARADMIN announces the Marine Corps winners of the 2015 Excellence in Naval Fuel Management Recognition Program. The program recognizes units and personnel who made significant contributions to DOD bulk fuel operations, petroleum supply chain management, and fleet fuel support across five categories including non-tactical units, tactical units, and individual fuel management professionals.

1.  It gives me great pleasure to announce this year's Marine Corps winners for the Excellence in Naval Fuel Management Recognition Program. There is no greater pleasure than having the opportunity to recognize the following units and personnel for their outstanding performance and contributions to the Marine Corps mission.

A.  Category III: Marine Corps non-tactical unit MCAS Iwakuni, Japan.

B.  Category IV: Marine Corps tactical unit 7th ESB, Camp Pendleton, CA.

C.  Category V: Marine Corps Fuels Officer CWO Kyle Babka, 9th ESB, Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan.

D.  Marine Corps Fuels Staff NCO SSgt Karina Villatoro, MWSS 373, MCAS Miramar, CA.

E.  Marine Corps Fuels NCO: Cpl Mitchell Gillis, 9th ESB, Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan.

2.  This program recognizes activities and personnel of the Naval Service that have made the most significant contributions to DOD bulk fuel operations, petroleum supply chain management, and fleet fuel support.

3.  This program highlights the accomplishments of countless Marine Corps petroleum professionals who demonstrate daily their pride, professionalism and support for our warfighters.
