MOS Manual Change for PMOS 2629, Signals Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, Cyberspace Operations Technician

This MARADMIN updates the requirements for Primary Military Occupational Specialty (PMOS) 2629, Signals Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, Cyberspace Operations Technician, by canceling the Marine Analysis and Reporting Course (MARC) requirement. Effective 15 April 2020, all Staff Sergeants through Gunnery Sergeants with PMOS 2621, 2631, or 2641 will be assigned PMOS 2629, and Marines with these MOSs will automatically obtain PMOS 2629 upon promotion to Staff Sergeant.

1.  This is a coordinated message between Intelligence Division, Deputy Commandant for Information and Marine Corps Training and Education Command.
2. This message provides update/change to the published guidance for Primary Military Occupational Specialty (PMOS) 2629 in NAVMC 1200.1E (REF/A) and cancels requirement 1 for the PMOS 2629:  Complete the Marine Analysis and Reporting Course (MARC) (F074141), San Angelo.
3. Effective 15 April 2020, all Marines, Staff Sergeant through Gunnery Sergeant, with PMOS 2621, 2631, or 2641 will be assigned the 2629 PMOS. Marines must coordinate with their local Personnel Administration Center to ensure their MOS is updated in the Marine Corps Total Force System.
4. Beginning 15 April 2020, Marines with PMOS 2621, 2631, and 2641 will obtain the PMOS 2629 upon promotion to Staff Sergeant.
5. The above changes will be reflected in the FY21 MOS Manual.
6. All current registrations for the Marine Analysis and Reporting Course will remain in place unless individually cancelled through your local chain of command and Occupational Field Sponsor.
