Results of the FY23 CMC Masters of Applied Cyber Operations Program Panel

This MARADMIN announces the results of the FY23 Masters of Applied Cyber Operations (MACO) Program selection panel held on 7 February 2022. Three Marines (two Gunnery Sergeants and one Staff Sergeant, all with MOS 1721) were selected to attend the Naval Postgraduate School MACO program beginning in September 2022. Selected Marines must contact their MOS monitors and NPS Admissions within two weeks of the MARADMIN release date.

1.  On 7 February 2022, the Deputy Commandant for Information (DC I) convened the FY23 Masters of Applied Cyber Operations (MACO) Program Selection Panel to select Marines as Candidates for assignment to the FY23 Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) MACO Program.<br>
2.  Senior leadership recognizes the need to develop resident knowledge within the cyber operations domain and to manage and retain our highly educated Marines. Selection to the MACO program reinforces the Marine Corps' commitment to identify exquisite talent and provide continuing educational opportunities to our professional force.  The selected individuals will gain knowledge and expertise through all stages of operations in the information environment.  The skillset developed through the MACO program will enable commander's ability to meet the challenges of operationalizing cyberspace across the Marine Air Ground Task Force.<br>
3.  The panel selected the following Marines to attend NPS's FY23 MACO Program:<br>

4.  No later than two weeks from the release date of this MARADMIN all selected Marines must:<br>
4.a.  Contact their primary MOS monitor to communicate acceptance of their assignment. Selectees will receive their orders from their Primary Military Occupational Specialty (PMOS) monitor to report to the President, Naval Postgraduate School, no later than 19 September 2022.<br>
4.b.  Contact the NPS Admissions Office at npsadmissions@nps.edu to communicate acceptance and receive further guidance.<br>
