Announcement of FY23 Reserve Staff Noncommissioned Officer Supplemental Promotion Selection Board

This MARADMIN announces a supplemental promotion selection board for FY23 Reserve Staff Noncommissioned Officers (SNCOs) to meet additional requirements in certain occupational fields. The board will convene on or about 9 May 2023 at Marine Corps Base Quantico for approximately 2 weeks, and no action is required from Marines who were previously eligible but not selected.

1.   As announced by references (a) through (d), the FY 2023 Reserve Staff Noncommissioned Officer (SNCO) Promotion Selection Board convened on 24 January 2023 at Harry Lee Hall, Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA, for a period of about 7 weeks.  The FY 2023 Reserve SNCO Promotion Selection Board adjourned on 1 March 2023.<br>
2.  Manpower and Reserve Affairs (M&amp;RA) has identified additional requirements within certain occupational fields in the Active Reserve (AR) and Select Marine Corps Reserve (SMCR).  In order to meet the needs of the Marine Corps, in conjunction with the SNCO board schedule realignment announced in reference (e), M&amp;RA will convene an FY 2023 Reserve SNCO Supplemental Promotion Selection Board on or about 9 May 2023 at Harry Lee Hall, Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA, for a period of about 2 weeks.<br>
3.  No action is required by Marines who were previously eligible but not selected by the FY 2023 Reserve SNCO Promotion Selection Board.  Furthermore, Marines are not permitted to update their OMPF records or provide additional update material to the President of the Board.  All board records will be reconstituted as they existed on 2359, 23 January 2023.<br>
4.  All provisions and requirements outlined in references (a) and (b) remain applicable.<br>
5.  Any Marine selected by the FY 2023 Reserve SNCO Supplemental Promotion Selection Board will be contacted directly via seperatecorrespondance from MMPR-2.<br>
6.  This MARADMIN will be posted to the Promotion Branch website.<br>
