Call for Participation in the 2018 Society of American Indian Government Employees Conference

This MARADMIN announces the 2018 Society of American Indian Government Employees (SAIGE) National Training Program conference taking place June 11-14, 2018, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Marine Corps will sponsor 25 participants by covering conference registration fees and travel expenses for Marines, civilian Marines, and Sailors attached to Marine units who wish to attend this professional development and cultural awareness event.

1.  This MARADMIN announces the 2018 Society of American Indian Government Employees (SAIGE) National Training Program (NTP) 11-14 June 2018 at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center, 2040 Airport Drive, Green Bay, Wisconsin 54313.<br>
2.  SAIGE NTP advocates for American Indian and Alaska Native people in the Federal government workforce.  Annually, the organization sponsors a National Training Program that promotes professional development, cultural awareness, and continuing education of government employees, to include Department of Defense (DoD) military and civilian employees.<br>
3.  CMC (MPE) will sponsor twenty-five (25) members conference/registration fees and all travel expenses.  Commanders may authorize Temporary Additional Duty orders to Marines, civilian Marines, and Sailors who are attached to Marine units to attend.  Local travel is authorized for members in the local area.  All Marine Corps funded participation will be coordinated through the Equal Opportunity and Diversity Management (MPE) Branch.<br>
