This MARADMIN announces changes to the May 2023 and June 2023 Staff Noncommissioned Officer (SNCO) promotion numbers for Active Reserve (AR), Selected Marine Corps Reserve (SMCR), and Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) personnel. The changes update the number of Marines selected for promotion at each grade level (Master Gunnery Sergeant, Master Sergeant, Gunnery Sergeant, and Staff Sergeant) to reflect current Marine Corps requirements.

1. This Marine Administrative Message (MARADMIN) announces changes to reference (a) which established guidance for 1 May 2023 and 1 June 2023 planned SNCO promotions for AR, SMCR and IRR. These changes are reflective of the current requirements of the Marine Corps.<br>
2. The following reflects changes to paragraph 12 of reference (a).<br>
