FY24 Solicitation of Qualified Marines for the Joint Communications Unit

1.  The purpose of this MARADMIN is to solicit qualified enlisted Marines to screen for the Joint Communications Unit (JCU).  All Marines assigned to JCU must meet stringent criteria mandated by JCU.
2.  The JCU delivers global technological solutions for the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) and Special Operations Forces (SOF).  JCU provides innovative, leading-edge solutions through continuous research, development, testing and evaluations of the SOF information environment and proven technologies to the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).
3.  The below MOS(s) are eligible:
0621 - Transmissions System Operator
0627 - Satellite Transmissions System Operator
0629 - Transmissions Chief
0631 - Network Administrator
0639 - Network Chief
0671 - Data Systems Administrator
0679 - Data Chief
0699 - Communications Chief
1721 - Cyber Warfare Operator
2862 - Ground Electronics Systems Maintenance Technician
4.  Incentives associated with JCU include: advanced industry training and certifications, and industry/academia partnership for research, development, and training.
