Modification to the Call for Participation in the 2016 Joint Women's Leadership Symposium
This MARADMIN modifies the previous call for participation in the 2016 Joint Women's Leadership Symposium by clarifying travel funding restrictions. Commands may not fund Marines' travel to the event; Marines may attend using PTAD or authorized leave but must pay their own travel expenses including registration, transportation, lodging, and per diem without reimbursement.

1. Ref b restricts travel to this event accordingly, commands may not fund Marines' travel. Marines may pay their own travel expenses but will not be reimbursed for travel. Commanders may utilize PTAD or authorized leave for Marines to attend. Those Marines in a PTAD and/or leave status will be required to pay their own travel expenses which may include: registration, transportation, lodging, and per deim. 2. All other guidance contained in ref a remains unchanged. 3. Release authorized by BGen G. W. Smith, Jr., Director, Manpower Plans and Policy Division, Manpower and Reserve Affairs.
