Announcement of Billet Vacancies for Calendar Year 2016 Sergeants Major Slate 1-16

1.  Per the ref, the following billet will be slated:

2.  All Sergeants Major (SgtsMaj) who meet the requirements in para 4 will be considered for any additional billet vacancies that become available during the conduct of this slate.
3.  SgtsMaj with concerns that may affect their future slating and assignment decisions must provide a letter, with MSC Commander endorsement, to the Manpower Management (MMDIV) Sergeant Major prior to the pacakge submission due date listed below in para 5.
4.  SgtsMaj must meet the following requirements for Slate 1-16:
4.A.  All SgtsMaj with an AFADBD OF 1 Mar 89 or later will be considered.
4.B.  Must have been selected on the FY-11 promotion board or earlier.
4.C.  Must have successfully served in a 1-2 star or O-6 level billet for at least 24 months prior to the tentative report date listed above in para 1.
4.D.  MMDIV will automatically address time on station waivers and Enlisted Career Force Controls.
4.E.  Must have passed most recent physical fitness or combat fitness test.
4.F.  Must occupy designated quarters if available.
5.  Correspondence must arrive at CMC (MMDIV) NLT 24 May 16.  Questions concerning the slating process should be communicated to the MMDIV SgtMaj, DSN 278-9698/COM (703)784-9698.
