Class of 2021 Joint Cyber Development Program Selection Results

This MARADMIN announces the selection results for the Class of 2021 Joint Cyber Development Program (JCDP), a three-year internship program led by U.S. Cyber Command designed to develop technical skills in cyberspace operations. Two Marine Captains with MOS 0602 were selected from a competitive pool of highly qualified applicants.

1.  The purpose of this MARADMIN is to announce the selection panel results for the class of 2021 Joint Cyber Development Program (JCDP).  JCDP is a three-year internship program led by U.S. Cyber Command designed for technically inclined individuals to further develop their skills in the areas of secure system design, vulnerability analysis, computer network defense, and computer network operations.  Upon completion of the internship, the Marines will receive orders to a technically demanding three-year tour tailored to each applicant.  The JCDP will produce exceptional Marine Corps leaders with deep technical expertise and experience.  These specially trained Marines will lead future Marine Corps efforts in cyberspace operations serving both the needs of the Marine Air Ground Task Force and the Cyber Mission Force.
2.  Class of 2021 selection was competitive with a number of highly qualified applicants.  The selection board evaluated each candidate according to program objectives, operational experience, academic background, and technical acumen.
