Change 1 to the Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) Selected Marine Corps Reserve (SMCR) Enlistment Bonus (EB) and Montgomery G.I. Bill-Selected Reserve (MGIB-SR) Kicker
This MARADMIN updates the FY21 Selected Marine Corps Reserve (SMCR) Enlistment Bonus amounts for different time periods. The bonus temporarily increases from $3,000 to $6,000 for enlistments between May 1 and June 15, 2021, then returns to $3,000 through August 31, 2021.

1. Effective 1 May 2021, this MARADMIN provides an update to paragraph 1 of reference (a) for the FY21 Selected Marine Corps Reserve (SMCR) Enlistment Bonus (EB) program. All other provisions of reference (a) remain unchanged.<br>
a. The SMCR EB amount from 1 October 2020 to 30 April 2021 is 3,000 dollars.<br>
b. The SMCR EB amount from 1 May 2021 to 15 June 2021 is 6,000 dollars.<br>
c. The SMCR EB amount from 16 June 2021 to 31 August 2021 is 3,000 dollars.<br>
2. Reserve Applicability. This MARADMIN is applicable only to the Reserve Component.<br>
3. This MARADMIN cancels on 30 September 2021.<br>
