Changes to the Urinalysis Samples Submission Process for Okinawa and Iwakuni Units and Commands
This MARADMIN redirects urinalysis sample submission for Okinawa and Iwakuni units from Navy Drug Screening Laboratory Great Lakes to Tripler Army Medical Center Forensic Toxicology Drug Testing Laboratory. The change is effective immediately and applies to all non-steroid drug testing samples, while steroid testing samples continue to be sent to NDSL Great Lakes.

1. This MARADMIN provides guidance for redirecting shipment of urinalysis samples for drug testing. 2. Effective immediately, all Okinawa and Iwakuni units/commands that currently submit urinalysis samples to Navy Drug Screening Laboratory (NDSL) Great Lakes, shall now submit their samples to Tripler Army Medical Center Forensic Toxicology Drug Testing Laboratory. 3. All urinalysis samples being tested for steroid use will continue to ship to NDSL Great Lakes for processing to Sports Medicine Research and Testing Laboratory, Salt Lake City, Utah. 4. Okinawa and Iwakuni units and commands shall mail all future (non-steroid) samples to this address: 1 Jarrett White Road, Tripler Army Medical Center, HI 96859-5000. 5. This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force. 6. This MARADMIN is cancelled 01 May 2020. 7. Release authorized by M. C. Balocki, Director, Marine and Family Programs Division.
