Interim Guidance for Photographs on Upcoming Reserve Affairs Boards
This MARADMIN provides interim guidance for Official Military Personnel File (OMPF) photograph requirements for upcoming Reserve Affairs boards due to COVID-19 restrictions. Photographs taken in calendar year 2019 will be considered current, and the deadline for submitting OMPF photographs for the FY21 Reserve Command Screening Board and Reserve Senior Leader Board has been extended to 10 August 2020.

1. The purpose of this MARADMIN is to announce interim guidance for upcoming Reserve Affairs' boards and the submission of Official Military Personnel File (OMPF) photographs due to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions 2. This interim guidance applies to applicants to the Active Reserve Program Aviator Accession Board in accordance with reference (a) and the FY21 Reserve Command Screening Board and Reserve Senior Leader Board in accordance with reference (b). 2.a. OMPF photographs taken in calendar year 2019 will be considered current for the boards announced in the references. 2.b. Marines with photographs taken before calendar year 2019 should attempt to update their OMPF photograph within Department of Defense and Service COVID-19 policy. 2.c. The deadline to submit OMPF photographs for the FY21 Reserve Command Screening Board and Reserve Senior Leader Board has been extended until 10 August 2020. 2.d. Marines with an OMPF photograph taken before calendar year 2019 who are unable to update their OMPF photograph should submit a letter to the president of the board from their parent command stating the Marine is within height and weight standards and justification for not having a current OMPF photo. 3.
