FY24 Special Technical Operations Planner Selection Panel Results
This MARADMIN announces the results of the FY24 Special Technical Operations Planner (8016 FMOS) Selection Panel held from 27-30 May 2025. All 21 applicants who were reviewed were selected for the 8016 Free MOS designation, and the results are posted on the SIPRNET SharePoint for access by selected Marines and their commands.

1. Per reference (c), the Special Technical Operations Free MOS (8016) Selection Panel convened from 27-30 May 2025. The panel reviewed 21 applications and selected 21 Marines. The list of Marines selected is posted on the SIPRNET SharePoint at https:(slash)(slash)intelshare.intelink.sgov.gov/sites /USMC8016/SitePages/Home.aspx. A copy of the memorandum will be distributed to the STO Chiefs at all MEFs and MARFORs. 2. Marines are instructed to submit this memorandum via EPAR to their local administration center, which will enter the appropriate entry in their Official Military Personnel File to reflect the FMOS. 3. Commanders are encouraged to utilize Marines with the 8016 FMOS in accordance with reference (a) to provide material contribution to service STO efforts through exercise support, wargaming, and crisis and contingency operations planning. 4.
