FY25 Meritorious Promotions for Prior Service Recruiter (PSR) Staff Noncommissioned Officers
This MARADMIN announces FY25 meritorious promotions for two Prior Service Recruiter (PSR) Staff Noncommissioned Officers: one to Staff Sergeant and one to Gunnery Sergeant. Commanding Officers are authorized to effect these promotions upon receipt of this message but not prior to 2 July 2025, and must ensure Marines meet service obligation requirements of 1 July 2027 or later.

1. Upon receipt of this Marine Administrative Message (MARADMIN), but not prior to 2 July 2025, Commanding Officers will effect the promotion of selected Marines. Cite this MARADMIN as authority for promotion. 2. Meritorious Promotion List 2.a. To Staff Sergeant: Name MCC Portillo, B. N. 908 2.b. To Gunnery Sergeant. Name MCC McCall, J. W. 908 3. Marines who do not possess an Expiration of Active Service or Reserve Expiration of Current Contract of 1 July 2027 or later are not authorized to be promoted and will not have their promotion effected in the Marine Corps Total Forces System until they comply. 4. Commanding Officers are authorized to locally extend Marines who are identified as not being in compliance with obligated service requirements, citing this MARADMIN as the authority. 5. Marines on limited duty or pending evaluation by a PEB may not be extended, however the command must notify MMPB-11 to effect promotion. 6.
