FY16-02 Marine Corps Systems Command (MASS) Panel Selection Results

This MARADMIN announces the results of the FY16-02 Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Acquisition Screening and Slating (MASS) Panel, which selected acquisition professionals for Program Manager and Product Manager positions. The panel selected one military officer and one civilian for Program Manager positions, and one military officer and three civilians for Product Manager positions, all designated as Critical Acquisition Positions (CAPs).

1.  The purpose of this MARADMIN is to announce the results of the FY16-02 MASS Panel.  Ref A authorizes the Commander, Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) to annually conduct a competitive process to screen acquisition professional officers (MOS 8061) for assignment to ground Program Manager (PM), ground Product Manager (PdM), Commanding Officer (CO), and Director (Dir) positions of ground and aviation commands performing significant acquisition missions that were previously screened and slated by the Marine Corps Acquisition Command Selection Board.<br>
2.  On 31 March 16, The Commander, MCSC convened the FY16-02 MASS Panel to select the Program Manager for Information Systems and Infrastructure (PM ISI), A Critical Acquisition Position (CAP).  A panel of General Officers and Senior Executive Service members from DON acquisition organizations and Headquarters Marine Corps stakeholder organizations reviewed 5 applications.  The Program Manager for Military Intelligence (PM MI) was also selected.  Accordingly, the following Marine Acquisition Officer Program Manager, command equivalent, selection is announced (read in three columns):<br>

3.  Per Ref B, on 3 May 16, The Commander of MCSC convened the FY16-02 MASS Panel to select Marine Acquisition Officers (PMOS 8061) and civilian Marine Corps acquisition professionals to fill acquisition Product Manager CAPs.  A panel comprised of senior officers and civilian acquisition professionals from MCSC reviewed 25 applications and recommended slating for the available billets.  Accordingly, the following Marine Acquisition Officer Product Manager, command equivalent, selection is announced (read in three columns):<br>

4.  Military selectees are to accept via email to the MSG POC within (ten) calendar days of release of this message.  Those officers who decline must submit declination in writing (AA form) via the first General Officer in chain of command to HQMC (MMOA-3) within (ten) calendar days of release of this message.<br>
