FY22 Special Technical Operations Planner Selection Panel Results
This MARADMIN announces the results of the FY22 Special Technical Operations (STO) Planner selection panel, which convened 16-20 May 2022 and selected 14 Marines out of 19 applicants for the 8016 Free Military Occupational Specialty (FMOS). Selected Marines must submit the selection memorandum to their local IPAC to update their personnel records with the FMOS designation.

1. Per reference (c), the Special Technical Operations Free MOS (8016) selection panel convened from 16-20 May 2022. The panel reviewed 19 applications and selected 14 Marines. The list of Marines selected is posted on the SIPRNET SharePoint at https:(slash)(slash)intelshare.intelink.sgov.gov/sites/USMC8016/SitePages/Home.aspx. A copy of the memorandum will also be distributed to USMC STO Chiefs at MEFs and MARFORS.<br> 2. Marines are instructed to submit this memorandum to their local IPAC, which will enter the appropriate entry into their Official Military Personnel File to reflect the FMOS.<br> 3. Commanders are encouraged to utilize Marines with the 8016 FMOS in accordance with reference (a) to provide material contribution to service STO efforts through real-world operations, exercise support, crisis contingency, or deliberate planning efforts.<br> 4.
