Update to FY21 MOS Manual Prerequisites for 0206, 26XX, and 17XX
This MARADMIN updates the FY21 MOS Manual prerequisites for intelligence-related Military Occupational Specialties (0206, 26XX, and 17XX). In addition to existing requirements for a current single scope background investigation/T5 investigation and SCI eligibility adjudication, Marines in these MOSs must now complete an SCI Pre-Screen Interview with HQMC SSO for assignment qualification per DoN and HQMC SCI policies and procedures to prevent MOS reclassification.

1. Per reference (a), as a prerequisite for 0206, 26XX and 17XX Military Occupational Specialties (MOS), Marines must have a current single scope background investigation/T5 investigation and be adjudicated for sensitive compartmented information (SCI) eligibility. This prerequisite remains valid and unchanged. Upon further evaluation of data from Manpower and Reserve Affairs, the 0206, 26xx and 17xx MOSs require an additional prerequisite in reference (a) to prevent MOS reclassification. These additions were made in coordination with Training and Education Command.
