Results of the Academic Year 24 Training and Education Command Instructor and Faculty Advisor of the Year Awards Program and Ceremony Conduct

This MARADMIN announces the winners of the Academic Year 2024 Training and Education Command (TECOM) Instructor and Faculty Advisor of the Year Awards Program. Eight Marines and civilians were selected for superior leadership and outstanding instruction across various instructor communities. The awardees will be honored at a Marine Corps Association awards dinner on July 25, 2024, at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, VA.

1. Per reference (a), this message announces the
Academic Year 24 (AY24) Marine Corps Association (MCA) Training
and Education Awards Program winners and awards ceremony.
2. Commanding General, TECOM (CG, TECOM) takes pleasure in
congratulating the following Marines/civilians on their selection
for superior leadership, outstanding instruction, and professional
contribution within the respective instructor community:
2.a. Marksmanship/Small Arms Instructor of the Year: Sergeant
Joshua C. Cardenas - Weapons Training Battalion, Training Command
(TRNGCMD).
2.b. Formal School Instructor of the Year: Staff Sergeant
Matthew J. Bostick - Marine Aviation Training Support Group-23,
TRNGCMD.
2.c. Formal School Aviation Instructor of the Year: Major William R.

Instructor of the Year: Gunnery Sergeant Jordan M. Kelly - Marine

Anthony N. Stea IV - Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, MAGTFTC.
2.f. Staff Non-commissioned Officer Academy (SNCOA) Faculty Advisor
of the Year: Gunnery Sergeant Anton Arifaj - SNCOA, Education
Command (EDCOM).
2.g. Marine Corps University (MCU) Faculty Advisor of the year:
Major Eric D. Cash - Expeditionary Warfare School, MCU, EDCOM.
2.h. Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (MCJROTC)
Instructor of the Year: Sergeant Major (Ret.) Brent L. Cook - 
MCJROTC, TECOM.
3. Coordinating instructions.
3.a. These awardees will be honored by the MCA at an Awards Dinner
on 25 July 2024 at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, VA.
3.b. This event is open to the public and free for all active-duty
service members. Dinner and registration information can be found
