This message provides additional guidance for the Fiscal Year 2026 Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) to Limited Duty Officer (LDO) selection board and solicitation for applications. It clarifies eligibility requirements, including prior service in the appropriate feeder MOS and endorsement requirements for cross-occupational field applications. This guidance applies only to active duty Marines and does not apply to the Marine Corps Reserve.

1. This message provides additional guidance for the FY25 Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) to Limited Duty Officer (LDO) selection board and solicitation for applications. 2. Applicants must have previously served in the WO feeder MOS for the LDO MOS in which applying, or be qualified without additional training for the competitive category for which appointment is desired. If applying for an MOS outside of current Occupational Field (OccFld), the package must include an endorsement from the desired OccFld's manager. 3. This MARADMIN is not applicable to the Marine Corps Reserve. 4. Release authorized by BGen Ryan S. Rideout, Director, Manpower Management Division.
