Solicitation of Action Items for the 2021 Human Performance Advisory Council

This MARADMIN solicits innovative human performance ideas and recommendations from Marines across the Total Force for review at the 2021 Human Performance Advisory Council (HPAC) meeting in September. Marines can provide input through an online survey available throughout July 2021 on topics including physical fitness tests, combat fitness tests, body composition, martial arts, injury prevention, and methods to enhance resiliency and performance.

1.  The purpose of this MARADMIN is to solicit innovative human performance ideas and recommendations for review at the 2021 Human Performance Advisory Council (HPAC).
2.  The HPAC, held annually in September, is comprised of organizations and commands from across the Marine Corps to include Marine Corps Forces, Deputy Commandants, Health Services, and other stake holders to advise the Commanding General, Training and Education Command on matters related to human performance.
3.  Marines will have the opportunity to provide input via the survey located at:  https://www.fitness.marines.mil.  Topics in the survey include, but are not limited to, the physical fitness test, combat fitness test, body composition, Marine Corps martial arts, force fitness instructor, sports medicine and injury prevention, Marine Corps water survival training, and Military Occupational Specialty Specific Physical Standards.  The HPAC also seeks feedback on methods to enhance resiliency, proper nutrition and sleep education, and the integration of technology to optimize human performance.
4.  The survey will be available from 1 to 31 July 2021.  Point of contact information must be provided with submissions.
5.  Additional instructions for HPAC participants will be sent via separate MARADMIN correspondence.
