Solicitation of Policy Issues for Calendar Year 2020 (CY20) Marine Corps Reserve Policy Board (MCRPB)

This MARADMIN solicits policy issues from the Total Force for consideration by the Calendar Year 2020 Marine Corps Reserve Policy Board (MCRPB), scheduled to convene in September 2020. Submissions must be received by 31 July 2020 and include a quad chart identifying specific policies affecting the Reserve Component.

1.  Purpose.  To solicit reserve policy issues for consideration by the CY20 MCRPB.  The CY20 MCRPB is scheduled to convene in the National Capitol Region for three days during September 2020.
2.  Background.  The MCRPB is mandated per the references to consider, recommend, and report to the Secretary of the Navy on reserve policy matters.  These recommendations are generated by careful review of issues submitted from the Total Force.
3.  Action.  Each year, the MCRPB solicits policy issues for consideration.  Issues from the Total Force are vital to the success of the board and help shape future policy of the Marine Corps Reserve. 4.  Submission Process
4.A.  The deadline for submitting policy issues is 2359 EDT, 31 July 2020.  Late submissions will not be accepted.
4.B.  The survey can be accessed at the following link: https:(slash)(slash)go.usa.gov/xweHa.
4.C.  The submission must identify the specific policy or policies to be changed (i.e. Marine Corps Order, Secretary of the Navy Instruction, Department of Defense Instruction, etc.) and clearly articulate how that policy affects the Reserve Component.
4.D.  A quad chart slide is required for each submitted issue.  A template is provided within the survey.  Additional documents (information paper, etc.) may be uploaded to assist with further explanation of the issue to the Board.  A confirmation email is sent once all actions are complete and the issue is successfully submitted.
5.  This MARADMIN is applicable to the Total Force.
