FY23 Marine Helicopter Squadron One Rotary Wing and Tiltrotor Pilot Selection Panel Results
This MARADMIN announces the selection of 23 Marine Corps pilots (ranging from Captain to Lieutenant Colonel) for assignment to Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1) in FY23, covering rotary wing and tiltrotor aviation specialties. Selected officers must coordinate orders with their monitors, initiate Top-Secret Yankee White security clearance processing immediately, and can expect to report to HMX-1 during FY23. Eight alternate selectees are also identified, and the FY24 selection panel is scheduled to be announced in March 2023.

To coordinate orders to HMX-1, primary selectees are instructed to contact their PMOS monitor and the HMX-1 Manpower Officer. Selectees wishing to decline shall contact HMX-1 Manpower Office no later than 30 days after the release of this message. Selectees can expect orders to report to HMX-1 during FY23.<br> 3. Selectees who are currently serving in a WTI utilization tour shall complete a minimum of 18-months as a 7577 prior to executing PCS orders to HMX-1.<br> 4. To initiate the formal background investigation required for a Top-Secret Yankee White security clearance, primary selectees are instructed to contact Ms. Brandy Ellington, HMX-1 Security Administration at brandy.ellington@whmo.mil as soon as possible.<br> 5.
